Leadership Team

Crumbs’ leadership team is equipped with eight decades of music and film experience and more than 20 years of cutting-edge technology development. We believe we have developed a site that serves the best interests of artists, rights-holders and licensees.

Ray Williams, founder and CEO, has more than 50 years of experience in the music and film industries. As head of A&R for Liberty Records, he discovered Elton John and introduced him to lyricist Bernie Taupin, forging one of the most prolific songwriting teams in rock history. He managed Elton during his first five albums and also managed Gerry Rafferty’s Stealers Wheel and Jeff Lynne. Ray has been the music supervisor on more than 70 films and TV projects, including the Academy Award-winning film The Last Emperor and the Sundance Best Independent Film Winner Saving Grace.

Mark Warrick, chief licensing officer, is a longtime collaborator with Williams on music supervision for films. Mark was recruited by producer Pete Waterman to work at MCA, where he guided the professional (creative) department during the most successful five years of the company’s history. From there, he moved into a successful career in management and publishing.

Gemma Dempsey, creative director, has worked in film, music, radio, event coordination and the non-profit sector for over 20 years, both in London and Los Angeles. She has developed an extensive roster of contacts on either side of the Atlantic. Gemma was producer of the iconic public radio program “Morning Becomes Eclectic” on KCRW. She has a longstanding relationship with Ray, which launched her career in music supervision for film.

He served has U.S. Creative Director for London-based music channel SBTV, discovering and working with artists, and has been working as a freelance photographer in the fashion/music world for 5 years, working with brands such as Puma, New York Times Magazine, and labels such as Interscope and Motown records, shooting the likes of Lorde, Questlove, Iggy Azalea, and Richard Branson.
